Hi, my name is Matt Stohrer and I repair saxophones for a living.
Welcome to a more streamlined, organized, cleaner, faster, simpler, easier to read version of my website. Something that feels a bit more “old internet”. I redesigned it in September 2022. Go to About -> News for more info.
I am still creating new saxophone repair content. Check out the Index (I made it the homepage recently, so it will show up by default, but you can also find it under “Sax Repair Info”) for a mostly comprehensive list of all of my articles, videos, and other resources I have created. It is somewhat organized by topic, or sometimes make/model of saxophone. Hopefully it is intuitive, but the reality is that there is just a lot of content to organize. The Index is updated as I continue to create new stuff.
I still make my living repairing vintage saxophones full time, have now been doing so for 20 years, and plan to do so for the next 20-30 years. I am currently booked solid for the foreseeable future, and am only taking work from previous clients. If this changes, I will post here. As always, I am available via phone for any saxophone questions I might be able to help you with.
